Now that I’ve had this bumper installed for a few months I can honestly speak on its fit and function. I was a little deterred by the price tag to say the least but it has turned into the single best investment I’ve made for this rig.
This is the Cruiser Company @thecruisercompany high clearance rear tow bar imported and distributed by Long Range America @longrangeamerica . First of all, the fit is immaculate, if you can get past the very subpar assembly directions, this thing went together very smoothly and had zero hiccups getting it on the truck (the rear crossmember does need to be removed but it is entirely reversible). Secondly, the build quality itself is top notch. The bumper is STOUT and the swing outs are very reinforced, I’ve had them both opened and have been jumping on the end of the open arm with very minimal flex and absolutely zero worry about bending or breaking anything. To add to this, I have never experienced such a strong powder coating. The latching mechanisms are strong and simple and the gas struts add to the ease of use. Lastly, this thing is built to last with 10mm plate in all structural locations and 5mm everywhere else. That does come at the sacrifice of weight but it’s actually not that heavy considering.
Final impressions, I would buy again in a heartbeat and have no doubts about the longevity of this setup.
