Long Fling brengt negen jaar aan liefdevol jammen uit: speelse indie rock en zoete tweezang door de twee tortelduifjes Pip Blom en Personal Trainer frontman Willem Smit. Vorige week kwam hun debuutplaat uit en ze speelde enkele tracks live bij 3voor12 Radio.

We wrote/recorded songs sporadically over the past ten years, and compiled them into a record at the end of 2024.

Long Fling is de naam die is ontstaan uit het duo Pip Blom en Willem Smit. En een lange flirt is het zeker. Bekend van hun eigen projecten Pip Blom en Personal Trainer, besloot het koppel hun krachten samen te smelten na jaren samen schrijven.
Na succes met hun eigen bands, kwam er dan eindelijk tijd vrij voor de wens om samen muziek uit te brengen. Het resultaat is een frisse, intieme en gritty combinatie die zich op 3 oktober 2025 presenteert op hun debuutalbum ‘Long Fling’. Als opwarmertje brengt Paradiso Vinyl Club de single ‘Shoes’ uit op exclusieve flexidisc op 23 september. De single wordt verzonden naar leden van Paradiso Vinyl Club.
Op 12 november speelt het duo vergezeld door hun band een liveshow in Tolhuistuin. Leden van Paradiso Vinyl Club kunnen zich aanmelden voor de gastenlijst door te mailen naar [email protected]. Reguliere tickets zijn verkrijgbaar via de website van Paradiso.
