I had the idea a while back to use the basketball as vehicle for motion. If you release the ball right, you should get a beautiful back spin that helps coerce the ball into the cradle of the bucket. The concept worked out in theory better than practice — you’d have to have the most insane wrist flick to get a spin of 8 frames per second. Nonetheless, I thought this was an interesting exploration, and something I’ll continue to explore. Click on the image to get the full effect of the loop.
