I think one of the keys to life is creating things to look forward to. It’s always exciting to return to OKIHI! Such a blessing to share musical memories with special people! There is so much in store for this Skye on the River, May 9! Saturday’s forecast is looking prime and we will be vibing alongside the Kern River. Stoked to have Asher Phoenix and Morning Drive! This is the 8th annual Spring Soulstice and I couldn’t be more pleased to be continuing this tradition that my father and I started in 2018 - gathering with friends to welcome spring with good music! We love putting this together for to the community. A lot goes into this show, without profit. The goal is to provide an inclusive, safe space for music lovers - for the community - and to always take care of the musicians that help keep Bakersfield alive! Welcome!
I have been playing music for 18 years and guitar for 10 years. My experience includes having performed live and recorded in the style of rock, blues, metal, country, jazz, soul, punk, and experimental. I have received training in jazz guitar and am continuing my music education currently.
In the past 7 years, I have had over 300 different guitar students ranging in level of playing and walks of life. I am confident in my ability to interpret the secrets of the guitar in a way that is engaging and demystified. Through this online course, I am uploading everything that I have learned in my many years of bonding with the guitar and trying to understand it’s complex capabilities.
For $100 a month you get access to all my modules and your choice of one hour lesson or two half-hour lessons per month via zoom. I am looking for students who want an accessible and extensive guitar resource, as well as monthly accountability check-ins. The price is hard to beat for the value!
