RIP, Chris Scheinost, aka DJ Nost. I found out my old friend passed away last night. I met Chris through my friend Kyle. Chris and I had a mutual love for music and back when I was making music as Log Rhythm, Chris would DJ my backing tracks while I played guitar over it. We played many shows in Lincoln together and we always had a good time hanging with friends. We lost touch over the years but I did get to see him when he brought his daughter to my wife’s salon during Covid. Such a good dude and I’m going to miss you my friend. Love you, Chris.
Yesterday we celebrated the life of @eric.baughman at @reverb_lounge . I didn’t know Eric as well as others did, but I always had a great time skating and jamming with him over the years at the donuthill skatepark in Omaha. He was very creative with his artwork, a talented musician, and very stylish on a skateboard. Here’s a few photos and video clips I was able to find of Eric that I wanted to share with the Omaha skate community. RIP, Eric. We’ll miss you.
After 14 years, one of my favorite places had to close its doors recently. I had so many good times here and met a lot of great people. Thank you to all the key holders who made this place possible. It was truly the greatest place to skate in Nebraska. Can’t wait to see what’s next! Here’s some clips of me from 2016-2018 that I never got around to sharing. @donuthill #donuthill #donuthillisdead
