Last year around this time I was in South Africa. This year, I’m in England. And if you’ve been following my journey… you already knew a post like this was coming. Here in Bristol, I just visited: 1. The harbour; where ships once left these shores, carrying out one of the largest systems of human trafficking in history. 2. Queen Square House: a building tied to the administration of Bristol’s port economy during the height of the transatlantic human trafficking industry. 3. Queen Square formation: historic homes that literally form a square around the park - owned by those who built their fortunes through slavery. This space once held deep connections to that economy and power structure of England. 4. The centre of the square: the very ground where enslaved Africans were once auctioned ( human trafficked) Today it’s open green space with no plaque ( that I couldn’t find at least) 5. The only signage I could find… a small useless plaque near the harbour that barely acknowledge the scale of what actually happened here. It is what it is. To be be clear, my posts are for educational purposes with the motive of restoring cultural AND historical integrity.. I’m not looking for pity I’m looking for truth. “Study the lie and they will make new lies up, study the truth and you’ll know when a lie come” - Bizzle Cheerio 🇬🇧

What does it really mean to show up when everything is telling you to leave? Neil Logik Donaldson redefines presence, not as proximity, but as intention. Becoming a father from 500 kilometers away. Being removed from the hospital the day his daughter was born. Learning that staying is sometimes more painful than leaving in the moment. Neil shares the quiet, unseen work of love across distance. Five hour drives. Early alarms. Drop offs that feel like heartbreak. Parenting measured not in routines, but in effort and consistency. This is a reminder that leadership does not always look loud or heroic. Sometimes it looks like choosing the harder path, deliberately, even when no one is watching. #NeilLogikDonaldson #SpeakerSlam #Presence #Fatherhood #Leadership

Big news! I’m hitting the stage next Tuesday at the first Speakers Slam of the year, theme: “Against All Odds.” 2025 was a year of loss, grief and quieter reflection for me. After 3 drafts, I landed on a speech that I need to share. 2026 is about reclamation, and it starts with voice. I’m speaking 3rd out of 10 incredible speakers. Come pull up, witness the power of storytelling ! Purchase tickets here https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/against-all-odds-speaker-slam-inspirational-speaking-competition-tickets-1974535533935

From Toronto to Harlem. We linked up with @original_self_allah and @infmega for a powerful walk through the neighbourhood — stopping at the Big L mural on 140th & Lenox and the Huddy 6 tribute wall a few blocks away. Both murals tell stories of legacy, love, and lyrical genius — reminders that Harlem isn’t just a place, it’s a heartbeat of hip-hop culture and community. This post is also in celebration of Big L’s new album Harlem’s Finest: Return of the King — released under Mass Appeal and featuring: @nas , @methodmanofficial , Jay-Z, @macmiller , @joeybadass @the_real_herbmcgruff ,@joebudden , @showbiz , DJ Ron G, Fergie Baby, BVNGS, Pale Jay, Party Arty, Novel, Errol Holden, Donald Phinazee, and Sacha Jenkins. 🙏🏾 Peace to the Gods — this tour was facilitated by the 5 Percent Nation, born right here in Harlem. Legacy. Culture. Connection. #StolenFromAfrica #Harlem #BigL #Huddy6 #HipHopHistory #TorontoToHarlem #SFA #StreetArt #UptownLegends #Sankofa #OriginalSelf #IMFMega #Community #CulturalConnection #FromTheBlockToTheWorld

A full moon lunar eclipse landed on my birthday, and in a few days we lay my grandmother, to rest…coincidence? Cycles of endings and beginnings, grief and gratitude, letting go and stepping forward. As I celebrate my solar return, my personal new year, I’m holding space for both the weight of loss and the light of renewal. Here’s to honouring the past while stepping fully into purpose, growth, and love. 💚 *selfie taken on the Zambia River 🌍

I’ve been quiet… and with good reason. This year has changed me. On January 16, I lost one grandmother. On August 19, I lost the other; the heart of our family. To lose them both in the same year has been a shift I’m still learning to carry. “After the Tone” is my way of alchemizing that grief into art. Built from the voicemails my grandmother left behind. Her simple reminders, even “call me back” have become reminders of the love that held us together. This film is also a reflection for anyone who has loved and lost. “Grandmothers for Adult men..... Today, I was classified as “White.” This was an experience I’ll never forget I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry several times . Tears of grief, tears of anger , tears of joy for the resilient spirit of the indigenous peoples of South Africa. The pattern recogintion from what was happening in SA and what was happening in North America was haunting . These diabolical systems of oppression were franchised like McDonald’s Truth is what we need to heal. When i speak of restoring cultural and historical integrity, THIS is a top tier example. THIS is what you call experiential learning . Understanding leads to compassion. “Loving through the pain” is something Black and indigenous communities have shown over and over again, just look around . What else is there to prove? Fear ( false evidence appearing real) makes people do strange things. Stolen from Africa ? Or was Africa stolen from us? 🤔 #stolenfromafrica
