This one was all about **design constraints**. I wanted to see how small, slim, and *simple* a fully 3D-printed utility tool could be — while still being practical, safe, and satisfying to use. The result is **SLUK (Slim Logical Utility Knife)**: • Fully 3D printed • Snap-together assembly (no screws) • Compliant locking slide • Locks open *and* closed • Uses a standard utility blade This project was a great exercise in **compliant mechanisms**, tolerance tuning, and designing for real-world use with FDM printing in mind. If you’re into **functional prints**, mechanical design, or pushing what’s possible with desktop 3D printers, this one was a fun challenge to build.
