I got so inspired by watching so many talented artist do this material, that I wanted to push myself creatively and see this movement from a different lens. I challenged myself and the group to stay in a ONE-SHOT to really capture the essence of camerawork and let that be the forefront of this project! I couldn’t have done this without my incredible friend, DP, associate, co-producer @r2_lee2 . She read my mind before I said anything and that’s true collaboration. I am endlessly grateful that she wanted to create with me! We brought on the incredible @sissa.strain who became 1st AD and thank god we did. Literally saving all of us and being such an important part of this process! Lastly, to this incredible group of artists who without hesitation said YES and were down to be part of this, all I can say is THANK YOU! One thing about us here at Steps, we love a SPOTLIGHT DEBUT ⭐️ Logan Epstein is stepping into the Steps Spotlight for the very first time! Logan is no stranger to the community amongst the four walls of 2121 Broadway. She has taken all of the qualities that we know and love about theater Jazz and given us a fresh perspective with her eclectic and timeless style ✨ Logan has assisted some of the top choreographers in our industry being their right hand on feature films, Broadway, and off-broadway productions. Her keen eye and ability to graciously conduct a room make her the perfect assistant choreographer as well as a phenomenal educator! We have been so lucky to experience Logan’s passion, dedication, and undeniable love for dance in our studios. There is no doubt in our minds that this Spotlight debut will be one to remember.
