@loftprojectsny is an advisory and curatorial initiative led by Leslie B. Weissman & Charlotte Hailstone. Recognizing a gap in the market and a lack of exposure for emerging artists, they specialize in large-scale group exhibitions that bring together both emerging and mid-career artists, creating opportunities for rising talent to connect with new collectors, galleries, and established artists đ¨đŤ

In conversation: Aliza Stone Howard
Howard describes her practice of depicting film stills and outlines her personal experiences of being both a full time mother and painter.
Join us this evening to view the show at Soho/Tribeca Art night. 1969 Gallery, among others, will open our doors until 8:00 PM.
Currently on view: Aliza Stone Howard
In our inaugural collaboration with @loftprojectsny , Atelier 69â is excited to share the newest body of work from Aliza Stone Howard. Howardâs oil paintings explore the relationship between visual consumption and self-presentation. Capturing texture and detail in a vibrant palette, Howard employs a realist painting style to chart the experience of remembering and identifying through the lens of film or popular culture nostalgia. This exhibition will be on view until October 11th.
Atelier â69 embodies a novel approach to contemporary art curation by breaking down the physical and conceptual borders between the artistâs studio for creation and the gallery space for exhibition.
