We’re planning some changes here in Locks over the coming months. Christmas Eve will be Locks’ last service. We’re going to close for January while we carry out some changes to the restaurant (nothing too drastic, don’t worry!). In February, we will open Lena, a neighbourhood Italian restaurant.
You will see all the familiar faces along with some new team members. Simon Barrett and Liz Matthews (Uno Mas and Etto) will join Paul McNamara in the ownership of the restaurant. Paul, Simon and Liz are close friends and worked together for many years before opening Uno Mas together in 2018. In Lena, we hope to bring Uno Mas’ casual but refined approach to Locks’ beautiful canalside setting.
All existing Locks vouchers will be redeemable in Lena. Bookings for Lena will open in late January 2025.
Keep an eye on @lenaportobello for updates on our progress over the next two months.
