Track Familiarity ≠ Musicality
I have this habit that if I know a song, I instantly put myself under condition that I shouldn’t dance to it the same way I already have no matter how convenient the other choice is.
Meaning the pattern approach will definitely be different than last time I danced to it. Ensuring that the element of play & raw freestyle is present.
Our feeling in nature always changes due to many factors everyday, every minute. So if you’re really expressing, then you can’t be dancing to familiar tracks with the same pattern , same approach over and over.
**This is why I don’t like dancing to a familiar track because no matter how good I did it the last time, I won’t be doing that version again. 😅
