This week marks the end of the 3 month period of Buddhist Lent here in Thailand. The tradition is to offer monks food that any of your loved ones that have passed away would have liked. I made a nice meal for my sister Courtney, and my cousin Dan- two of my favorite people who are no longer with us. Beautiful tradition.
What I’m about to show you isn’t even meant for the home owners. It’s for the people walking on the sidewalk to take in as they cruise along their property. So extra!
No this isn’t the grocery store. These are the snacks for sale outside of the local town hall while you wait to be served. Beats the hell out of vending machine slop.
