Gold prices fell in Bahrain on Saturday, following a global decline driven by a stronger US dollar and rising Treasury yields 😮 In the local market, 21K gold was BD 48.500 per gram, 22K was BD 50.800, and 24K was BD 55.400, while the ounce stood at around 4,540 USD. Globally, gold dropped about 2%, hitting its lowest level in over a week, and recorded a weekly loss of around 2.5%.

According to Al Arabiya.net Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has called on Muslims across the Kingdom to observe the crescent moon marking the start of Dhul Hijjah on the evening of Sunday, May 17, 2026🌙In its statement, the court confirmed that Sunday, April 19, 2026, marked the beginning of Dhul Qa’dah after the month of Shawwal was completed as 30 days. Based on this, the court urged people across Saudi Arabia to look for the Dhul Hijjah crescent moon on May 17😍🌙The Supreme Court also asked anyone who spots the moon, either with the naked eye or using binoculars, to report their sighting to the nearest court or contact the closest center for assistance. Those experienced in moon sighting were also encouraged to join the official regional moon-sighting committees.
