I really liked figuring out how to painting different kinds of plants and the sun spots on the floor were a chalenge, surprisingly. I just crammed all my favorite things to draw into one scene haha. Maybe I stayed zoomed in for too long at places and you can’t see the brushstrokes s much in the overview. I want to try to maybe them more visible in a new drawing hmm.

At the time it was a challenge to do all the windows and only at the end I realized I could have layer them out in 3D much easier. Was a good learning experience, especially since I thought I hate painting cities. Will use 3D layouts more!

Here are my concepts for a rejected premiere page adaptation of “Un rêve”. I can’t wait to see how Ylang Lebot imagines it, she’s amazing!
I still like my drawing so here you go! Especially like the second one but it’s too bad it will look bad in the 4:5 preview. I tired to lean into the classic French style inspired by the posters exhibition at Musée d’Orsay. Either way, this experience gave me the practice to make more film concepts. I’ll continue making some in my free time cuz it’s fun :>

Spending a long time in Annecy looking at clouds and trees, I was inspired to do this photo study. It’s a house around where I live, a dream home really ^^
I have been enjoying digital painting a lot so I will be doing more in my free time. Especially after seeing ARCO and Amelie et la métaphysique des tubes, I feel super motivated to paint more 🎨
