So much of that is thanks to Cara Phillips of Influence By Design.
Cara, RID, IIDA, LEED AP, has spent over 25 years in commercial design, and she's been a true partner to us as we've grown. She has a way of listening, really listening, and turning what we hope a space could feel like into something tangible. The light, the flow, the little details that make each campus its own, that's her work showing up.
We're so grateful for the care she's poured into our spaces, and for the way she's helped make them feel like home for our members.

In the heart of downtown Wake Forest, our third campus brought The Loading Dock community north. Situated on White Street and surrounded by local restaurants, coffee shops, and small businesses, Wake Forest is walkable, welcoming, and a little bit magical.
With private offices for teams of 1 to 13, coworking, meeting rooms, a Boardroom, and two training rooms, Wake Forest is where historic downtown energy meets flexible workspace.
Our Wake Forest campus brought new life to a historic 24,000 square foot warehouse at 525 South White Street that had sat largely unused for years. Teaming up with the Wake Forest Business and Industry Partnership, the building was carefully upfitted into a two-story coworking and business incubator. Since opening in December 2021, it has grown into a home for entrepreneurs, small businesses, nonprofits, and remote teams across northern Wake County.
☕ A clean kitchen. A fresh pot of coffee. A welcoming front desk. At Wake Forest, those small things add up, and they happen because Madie, Jessica, and our Ambassadors, Anson, Colby, Toni H., and Tony S., show up for this campus every single day. Thank you for the hard work, the warmth, and the heart you bring. This place is better because of you.

You can see that this building went from a mid-century industrial warehouse, to a furniture showroom, to one of Raleigh’s most creative community spaces!
🙌 Meredith keeps Beryl buzzing as our Community Experience Manager, Kristin keeps it running smoothly as our Community Coordinator, and Mr. Clark keeps our warehouse in tip top shape as Warehouse Coordinator.
Backed by a crew of Ambassadors, Julie, James, Melissa and Annika, who treat this campus like their own. And a heartfelt thank you to Jacob or @snazzy.solutions , who recently retired from Ambassador service after years of dedicated support.
Empty trash, full coffee pots, clean counters, a friendly face at the desk, all of it takes a team. Thank you for pouring your energy into this place. We’re so grateful.

Before it was home to hundreds of members, Dock 1053 was a mostly abandoned warehouse off East Whitaker Mill Road. Philip Freeman stood inside it in 2016, and saw what could be.
Fast forward to today: coworking desks, private offices, cowarehouse units, meeting rooms, a classroom, and a community of makers, builders, and doers who call it their work home. Just north of downtown Raleigh, near Five Points, Mordecai, North Hills, and the Iron Works District, Dock 1053 is where it all started.
Thank you to every member who has walked through these doors, past and present. You built this place with us. 🧡
🙌 Behind every milestone at Dock 1053 is a team that works hard to make it happen.
