Today marks a year since the installation of “River” a performance by Every River Hughes (@every_eoh ) at the @whitneymuseum . We’re honored to have built the set for this beautiful performance, reimagining mythological crossing through song, text, choreographed movement, and set design.
We really enjoyed the process of this build, starting from scratch in our workshop in Beacon, NY, and ending up in the beautiful, lofty bright space of The Whitney Museum.

We're very pleased with how these tables came out!
Each table is 10' long and made from two solid 2" thick white oak slabs. The lumber came from a tree that fell in Beacon as the result of a storm a few years back. We had the tree milled locally and finished each table with wax from a local apiary.
The legs are corten weathering steel which provides a great contrast to the rough finished table tops.

We're building some thick oak tables this week to use at @theyardbeacon .
We had this wood milled locally from a tree that grew right here in Beacon and it will be finished with locally sourced wax from Garrison.
Plenty of lumber for custom orders too if you're looking to add an heirloom piece to your home or patio.
