Q: What Inspired You To Start Painting? 💛🎨✨
A: One of my best friends actually. I was a new young mom and newly separated from a 10 year love. My best friend told me to pick up the paint brush.
At first, it was just an escape but it quickly became a form of awakening. I just welcomed its freedom. Painting offered a beautiful truth that there are no rules — no mistakes — no perfection. The ideas of using color to quiet the chaos in my head. I allowed art to teach me how to grow and appreciate the process in becoming. To start with nothing and finish with something that can last an eternity — if cherished well — it’s magic ✨
