“Hi!! My name is Mohika Sharma and I’m from the Bay Area! This summer I will be interning in the bay with Google as a Finance intern.
Joining theta was one of the easiest and most obvious decisions for me. Through theta, I have created lifelong friendships and bonds like no other, friendships that feel effortless, genuine, and constant. Theta helped me find belonging at LMU in a way I did not even realize I was searching for. It is the comfort of knowing that whether I need someone to sit with me while I am overwhelmed, give advice when I am unsure, hype me up before something big, or just laugh until nothing else matters, there is always a Theta there. What makes THETA so unique and loving to me is that TLAM is not just something we say, it is something we live. It shows up in late night talks, spontaneous coffee runs, study sessions that turn into therapy sessions, and the quiet understanding that we are never doing life alone. “Hi, my name is Sydney Danon. I am from San Diego, California, and I am majoring in Political Science. I have had the opportunity to work as a Legislative and Public Policy Intern for the Supervisor of San Diego County, where I assisted with policy research, constituent services, and community outreach initiatives. I hope to translate the skills I have learned into a congressional internship this summer, where I can continue developing my experience in legislation and public service at the federal level.
