Having an agent is the first filter. When slots are gold dust, a trusted agent is what gets your name in the room.
But there are real routes in that don't require one.
The Takeover Stage in the campsite is fan-voted through the Boardies forum - no bookers, no gatekeepers. The Courtyard Stage is another genuine first step before you pitch for something bigger.
The door isn't as closed as you think. You just need to know which one to knock on.
