Figured it was time for a little reintroduction! So for those who might be new here, Hi! 👋 I’m Lexa, the gal you’ll always find behind the camera. I just recently turned 23, so what better time to share some new (and some long-standing) fun facts about myself🤪
• I started my photography journey in 2018 and officially went full time in 2021, so it’s been a wild and forever evolving ride!
• Aside from my personal brand, I am also the performer photographer at the @magiccastlehollywood . It’s not something I often post about, but I’m so grateful for the chance to witness some of the worlds greatest magicians in action!🪄
• When I’m not behind the camera, I’m either baking, traveling, golfing, or getting way too invested in some kind of reality dating show (a guilty pleasure if I must admit).🌹
• If there’s music playing, odds are I’m already dancing. It’s like I suddenly forget I have any sense of shame😅
• I recently bought a drone, and let me tell you.. it is easily one of the most exciting things I’ve invested in! Stay tuned for some footage from my recent trip to Kauai and travels to come!✈️
• Don’t be surprised if I befriend you mid-photoshoot ;) This isn’t just about capturing a moment for me. A big part of it is connecting with the people in front of my lens.
& Most importantly, I’m beyond grateful to do what I love every single day (yes, I’ve said this a million times, and yes, I’ll say it a million more)!🫶🏼

Deux fois plus de rêve✨
Some shoots feel straight out of a fantasy novel, the kind where the light hits just right, the dresses lay perfectly, and the whole scene makes you do a double take because it’s just too good to be real. This was one of them. And it couldn’t have been done without this team of artists who took every detail into consideration.
This team had a vision, and we made it happen. From concept to final frames, it all came together beautifully, and I’d love to help other visionaries turn their ideas into life like this one, (bonus points if it involves dreamy dresses😉)

This concept was totally out of Baylie’s comfort zone, but she trusted the process completely, leaned in to the idea and that is what made these images possible.
I’ve always been drawn to French culture, and I’ve started to notice how often that influence shows up in my work. This set, especially, feels very reminiscent of Amélie.
There’s something about that softness, that nostalgia, that quiet playfulness.

Two years ago, about a month into working at The Magic Castle, I barely knew anyone.
My birthday was this past weekend, and it reminded me of this specific night.
It was almost midnight. Aki had the late close up show.
I had met him maybe five minutes before he went on.
When the clock struck twelve, he stopped the room and had his entire audience sing happy birthday to me.
A room full of strangers.
A magician I had just met.
And one of the first moments I felt truly welcomed there.
I don’t post much of my magic world work… but this felt like the right week to share this one. 🤍
