NEW PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT | Waverley Christian College – Junior Secondary Building
Working with @williamsrossarchitects , LLOYD is excited to announce our appointment to the Waverley Christian College – Junior Secondary Building project.
Located in the thriving South Eastern Melbourne suburb of Narre Warren South, this campus caters for over 1,000 students from Prep through to Year 12, showing remarkable growth since the campus opened in 2012.
This Junior Secondary Building project involves the construction of a new double-story Junior Secondary Building specifically for Year 7-9 students, including eight general learning areas, breakout spaces, multipurpose meeting rooms, music room, and staff offices.
This building will also be the base for the school’s Supported Program of Applied Readiness for Community (SPARC) and the Learning Enrichment and Program Support (LEAPS) programs.
Further works to include first-floor link bridge between the existing building and proposed building along with surrounding landscaping, including two new courtyards, along with sheltered outdoor learning spaces.
RENDER VS REALITY | Ian Johnson Oval 1 Pavilion, Albert Park VIC
Located on the southern end of the world-famous Albert Park Sports Precinct, LLOYD delivered the new Ian Johnson Oval 1 Pavilion for @parksvic in partnership with Sport and Recreation Victoria.
Due to the timing demands of the site and surrounding areas, we used a hybrid construction approach including multiple pre-fabricated modular elements and accelerated program to expertly execute this multi-use space that now supports the extensive local sports clubs, schools, and wider community at Albert Park. The multi-use pavilion incorporates change rooms, an umpires' room, community space and a covered deck.
