Hey guys just checking in I haven’t posted in a while cause I’ve been in the studio but I’ve been feeling very #yolo recently let’s keep that up shall we?
I wrote a song a little bit ago as a way to self-soothe through a time of uncertainty and challenge. It reminded me that every moment in life, even the hard ones (especially those), will teach you something, even if the lesson is not one you wanted to learn. It reminded me that the only way to move forward is to move through, with grace and compassion for yourself and for others.
I was deeply inspired by @oliviabartonhaha while writing it, so we decided to record it together & release it on Bandcamp. You can go buy it now! Link in my story :)
100% of the proceeds will be going towards the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund, which provides rapid funds for organizations responding to immigration-related emergencies across Minnesota. The funds cover urgent basic needs like food, housing and transportation, as well as legal services and community safety planning.

Such a special year… I made my Broadway debut (!!!!!) and got to live out a childhood dream next to the best people on this planet. This year I was challenged in so many beautiful, difficult ways.. I made so many new friends and pushed myself out of my comfort zone time and time again.. My goal this year was to learn something, even if what I learned was that I didn’t like what I was doing lol. That information is still valuable and has informed the way I navigate my life / my career / my relationships / etc.. I’ve been gathering information about myself and constantly growing & changing for the better. My summer of yes turned into my year of yes, and that will continue into the rest of my life. I trusted my gut / my intuition more this year than ever before and it has paid off tenfold. Say yes to more things even if they’re scary!!!! YOLO!!!!!!
Saying goodbye to Older with the shows this past weekend was such a special experience, thank you to everyone who showed up & everyone who has shown up over the past year & a half, listening and welcoming this album with open arms. This album feels like the foundation for everything that’s to come, and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Here are some memories..

We shot the music video for Older in January of 2024, and pretty soon after that I scrapped it, for multiple different reasons. Rewatching it recently with @thenamesneema I saw a younger Lizzy really going through it lol, and I felt for her. I’m in such a different place now than I was when we filmed this, and releasing this video felt like the best way to close the chapter, at the same time remembering who I was when I made this album & video, and knowing how much I’ve learned since then. It’s out now on my YouTube ♥️
