There is so much going on in our world that is maddening right now. It can definitely feel hopeless and overwhelming, but I'm so grateful that my job and this TV series affords me the opportunity to channel those feelings into impact and connection with people and communities that need support. It reminds me everyday that we all just want to be heard and listened to and actions to support people who are fighting for justice don't need to be massive - one small thing, one petition signed, one phone call made, one conversation with a neighbor to say: "hey doesn't this feel wrong to you?" can make all the difference.
Working on #ItCouldntHappenHere for three seasons, 26 episodes, is a true gift. It's hard and it's heartbreaking, but the impact we have been able to make - cases reexamined, new evidence or witnesses, new momentum in cases that have been stuck in legal limbo, wrongfully convicted people getting justice. It's something our team could have only imagined when we started this journey back in 2020/2021.
This season we have six new cases, families, and communities that need support. If you've watched the show before - thank you. If you haven't yet, please take a watch beginning tonight

There are so many people that make this show possible but it starts with our incredible and fearless truth teller and leader of the helpers
@hilarieburton . I continue to be in awe of your dedication to this work. Thank you for being the bright light that is able to hold people that need to be seen and is able to expose darkness that has tried to go unnoticed.
Thank you to #DanFlaherty
