when i was a child the closest thing i had to a lizz doll was pocahontas which really doesn’t hold up in 2026. now that i have my own daughter i want to make sure she always feels seen and connected to her heritage. she will proudly announce that she is korean and filipino to anyone who wants to know. she loves dwengjang jigae and pancit and goes wild for my mom’s cooking. when i heard about @joeydolls and how they make dolls that celebrate asian culture i was like HECK YEA SIGN US UP so now that’s my little girl comparing her skin to the filipina and korean dolls and admiring their beautiful traditional dresses while i weep in the corner 😭 thank you for making my little girl and my younger self feel seen and loved 🥰 swipe for 5 year old lizz 😂😂😂

this year i was in charge of making the quilt for neighborhood nursery school’s annual spring fair fundraiser and im sew proud of it. (get it? sew?)
fr tho i’ve never made a quilt on my own before and it was a big undertaking with the nns parents all lending their time to hand stitch this baby but by golly we did it. the spring fair is may 16 and we will be raffling off the quilt at the fair, so please follow the link in my bio to buy some tickets! you don’t need to attend the fair to win, but if you do attend you can find me at the quilt table and i’d love if you said hi!

happy birthday to my favorite guy! i told a friend the other day that the reason our relationship has worked for so long is because of him. not only is he the most patient, kind man in the universe, he also comes home from work with snacks for me. for real. he has brought home cookies, cake, entire boxes of chocolate, just to name a few. he also brings me a bunch of beautiful makeup. if you have a wife, girlfriend, or just some woman you want to make happy- show up with goodies. sherm i love you in a way that defies physics bc you’re are a perfect human. happy birthday to my 5’5” king!
bb girl has been begging to go to the aquarium like every day for the last couple weeks so we finally relented and what do you know the fish and sharks and rays and the penguins and puffins and frogs and axolotls all were begging to see HER! anyway having a child is magical and expensive xoxo gossip girl
4 years ago my life changed forever when i brought a whole ass PERSON into this world. since then i have had the privilege and joy of watching her grow into an incredible, brilliant, hilarious, curious, generous, fearless, and above all LOVING little girl. she randomly says “I LOVE YOU UMMAAAAA” and it melts my heart every single time. when i hug sherm she runs up to join, yelling FAMILY HUG!!!!! when i hurt myself she offers to kiss it better and when she is eating a snack she makes sure to offer me a piece. today she told me that im the best present she got for her birthday. like for real she SAID THAT! i am so lucky and proud to be her mom and i am truly a better person for having her in my life. happy birthday to my favorite girl ❤️
