I carried spring home in my hands 🌿
elderflower & lime
floating quietly in cold water
waiting to become summer again
sweet blossoms,
rain-soaked roads,
sticky fingers from crushed leaves
and the soft scent of earth after storms
nettle & deadnettle,
goutweed, parsley, basil & chives —
all chopped into butter
until the forest turned spreadable
little clover blossoms on top
like tiny offerings to the season 🌸
some things don’t need perfection
just curiosity, wet shoes
and the courage to taste the wild
medicine from the edges of paths,
magic hidden in weeds,
and a kitchen slowly smelling like may ✨
