It’s kind of sad how we don’t really use print portfolios anymore, but I’m glad I have one. (Does House of Portfolios in NYC still exist?) Unfortunately I hadn’t added to it in 10 years, and I had a stack of magazines taking up room in my office closet. So, yesterday I tackled the overhaul: cutting out the pages that featured my work, using sticky dots to mount them, puzzling out the order (it still shifts abruptly from beauty to editorial, but whatever), editing out some of the older stuff, and screwing the book back together. 😅 In doing so I realized just how many editorials I never got print copies of (Jaylen, where are you??) and how I haven’t had any new photos printed since the Obama administration, so this is STILL out of date… but whatever. Done > perfect. ✅
