It’s been just over a month since we lost Campari, and in the midst of the grief, my life has been filled with family, friends, kind messages, thoughtful gifts, and of course, some heavy pours of Campari. I’m so grateful to everyone who has been patching up my shattered heart with fun and laughter. Somehow from kitty heaven Campari has still found a way to send love and adventure, and I’m thankful to all of you for delivering it to me and Whiskey❤️

Campari 7/24/2012 - 3/26/2026 ❤️ My precious Campari passed away in my arms on Thursday. It was sudden and unexpected and I am devastated. She was the sweetest, cuddliest, most fun little love. She was the runt of the litter and ran up to me when I met all the kittens. I fell in love with her immediately. The day before she died she talked to me at length and Whiskey came up to clean her and nuzzle her. That night she snuggled me so hard I couldn’t even move. She had so many fun quirks and was full of love and mischief. She slept at my head every night and woke me every morning for breakfast - sometimes she bopped me in the face, sometimes she pulled off my eyeshades. The last morning with her she snapped the fitted sheet against the mattress and bounded to the food bowl. She delivered her toys to me every night, trilling and singing. Whiskey has been crying out for her and looking for her. We weren’t ready to lose her and there’s a mitten shaped hole in our hearts. We are so grateful for all the love she brought for so many years. We had the happiest times together and she’s forever my lil love bug. We miss you, Campari 💕
