States didn’t go as expected: with some high emotions, harsh refs, tough competition and lots of nerves we came away with lots of experience and a new hunger to dominate next year.
I’m extremely proud of my girls and what they did all year! They were ranked top of their class in a hard sport. They showed up for practices even when sore and tired. They did extra when over weight limits. They tried harder and leaned on some amazing coaches (seriously can’t say enough good things about coach @bugzofvirginiabeach and @olwrestling )
They learned and came away from states humbled and inspired.
I love you both so very much….. Let’s get back to work girls!

Eighteen years ago at 7:57am, you came into this world and changed my life forever. I held you in my arms, so tiny at 7lbs 11oz and 21” long, and in that moment I felt every emotion at once — wonder, fear, joy, and a love I had never known before. You were the first to hear my heartbeat from the inside, the one who grew with me as I learned how to become a mom.
You’ve taught me patience, kindness, laughter, and courage. As you’ve grown, you’ve shown the world your strength, your integrity, and your beautiful heart. If I could do it all over again, I’d relive every memory — every milestone, every giggle, every adventure — because watching you grow has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. We have had so many adventures over the past 18 years, and I cant wait to experience many, many, more with you.
No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby. I hope your future is filled with joy, purpose, and the kind of happiness you create for others every day. Stay smart, beautiful, kind, and especially, stay brave — and never forget how deeply you are loved.

Both girls dominated the competition this weekend at First Flight Duals. I love watching them wrestle together and push each other to be their best. Their perseverance and grit are qualities that will take them far. Proud of you girls, in and out of competition ♥️
