Found out the other day that Lyra and the Ferocious Beast is up for a few awards nominations including “Best Costume Design.”
Maybe it’s the time of year and me just feeling sentimental but as Lyra continues to receive her much deserved flowers I thought I’d also briefly share some highlights. This is obviously not everything and at some point I’d like to do a more in-depth post just showing the LEWKS created in full from design draft to final form but this show was such a labor of love. Grateful to have worked with this amazing crew. Thank you to @truepennyprojects and @doctormcscrooge , and everyone who supported the show!
I also could not have done this without the immensely talented @sarahlleiva . Not bad for two Sag’s working on a first time theater gig. Love you, boo!

Grateful for making it to 29 and also feeling a little bittersweet about today as it’s the first birthday spent without you. I’m still a little bit at an emotional standstill trying to process that you’re no longer here and I would give anything to hear your voice on the phone wishing me a great big “Happy Birthday, Girl!”
In this new year, I hope to continue to make you proud and that as I enter this new stage I am a little bit wiser and more capable to take a moment and appreciate all the beautiful things this world has to offer. Forever your kid. 🖤✨🌷
