Rather than keeping that knowledge to himself he gave it back, volunteering at a local youth centre where he ran DJ workshops and helped others find their way into the world of electronic music. ⚠️LIYO @liyo.techno ⚠️ 24.04 @ewerk_erlangen ⚠️ Alles, was in mir steckt, auf den Floor bringen” – dieser Antrieb ist es, der LIYOs musikalisches Schaffen von Anfang an geprägt hat. Musik ist für ihn keine Bühne, sondern ein Gefühl – und dieses Gefühl gibt er mit voller Energie an seine Crowd weiter. Mit 13 Jahren begann seine Reise – nicht hinter den Decks, sondern mit einem E-Bass in der Hand. Die Leidenschaft für Musik war von Anfang an da. Was dann folgte, war Nürnbergs Feierkultur: Die Energie auf den Dancefloors der Stadt ließ ihn nicht mehr los und inspirierte ihn, selbst zum DJ zu werden. Statt das Wissen für sich zu behalten, gab er es weiter – ehrenamtlich im Jugendzentrum, wo er DJ-Workshops leitete und anderen den Einstieg in die Welt elektronischer Musik ermöglichte. Von dort führte sein Weg konsequent nach oben: von privaten Raves über Auftritte in Clubs wie der legendären Rakete, Veranstaltungen im ZBAU, bis hin zu Festivals wie der Nature One. Den nächsten Level erreichte er mit einer Badezimmer-Session bei HÖR Berlin und einem Auftritt bei HÖR on Tour – zwei der renommiertesten Plattformen der weltweiten Techno-Community. LIYO steht für garantiert gute Laune und pure Freude auf dem Floor. Seine brasilianischen Wurzeln fließen dabei spürbar in seine Sets und Eigenproduktionen ein – als Wärme, als Rhythmusgefühl, als dieser besondere Drive, der einen einfach mitreißt. Sein Sound bewegt sich zwischen Hard Trance, Trance, Bounce, Hard Bounce und Hard Techno – alles, was emotional packt und den Alltagsstress einfach vergessen lässt. Yo Atzen, here’s a little review of my personal highlight of the year - the @voit_event x @opus_rave event (25.10.2024)! Mega thanks to everyone who was there! Despite playing a set with Adrian Mills at the same time, so many awesome people celebrated with me! Was für ein Jahr! 😮‍💨 Angefangen hat alles in der Rakete, von dort ging es weiter in den Z-Bau, dann aufs Heidewitzka, nach Kloster Banz, zur Nature One und schließlich zu meinem absoluten Favoriten: OPUS x Voit. Jede Station hatte ihren ganz eigenen Vibe und bleibt unvergessen! 2024 war ein Jahr voller Höhen und Tiefen – das hört man bestimmt auch an meiner Musik, haha. 😅 Ich möchte mich bei allen bedanken, die nie aufgehört haben, an mich zu glauben, und bei den Menschen, die so viel Geduld mit mir haben (ich weiß, ich bin nicht immer einfach 🧂).
