Kuukauden päästä Lappeenrannan taidemuseossa avautuu Vesireitit -ryhmänäyttely, jossa on esillä mm. näitä seudulta nousevia napoja. Mukana myös muita upeita taiteilijoita, joiden teoksista Riikka Thitz @rii__tz on kuratoinut harkitun ja monipuolisen kokonaisuuden Näyttely esillä 21.2.-10.5. ja avajaiset 20.2. klo 18-20 ️

Our duo exhibition "Still I Rise" with Sarah Nakiito @sarahnakiito opened at Kunsthalle Seinäjoki in September and will last until February 7th 2026. Together with Sarah's textile pieces I'm showing sculptural entities of bronze and ceramics with a video work.Here's an excerpt from the exhibition text by our curators Vidha Saumya @vidheshwari and Elham Rahmati @ellerahmati :"Taking its title from Maya Angelou’s iconic poem And Still I Rise (1978) the exhibition weaves together two practices rooted in resilience, ancestral memory, and the ever-evolving act of self-definition. Their works navigate the emotional and political terrain of survival, where defiant hope, tactile materiality, and deeply personal mythologies converge. As their practices intersect, viewers are drawn into a dynamic space: one of witnessing, reflection, and quiet rebellion."photos: Krista Luoma#taiketukee #paulonsäätiö

Thank you everyone for coming to the opening last Friday, it was sweet "Romantic thought" has now openned in @hamhelsinki gallery and is on until the 7th of September.For a first solo show making this exhibition has been exciting and scary. Thank you @metuusa for mental support and studio visits I'm also grateful to have worked with @alsaojala who did the sound design for the audio piece and Emilia Niskasaari for the bronze castings and material knowledge.Curated by lovely @satu.metsola and built together with @danjbeard, Sampo and MeriI had a chat today on @radiohelsinki about the exhibition. So if interested it can be listened on-demand from CADIA X HAM' s show It has been a relief to be supported by the Arts Promotion Centre and by the Paulo Foundation. #taiketukee1st pic äiti2nd pic Saara Vuola
