Compelled Local is for all women who desire to gather, grow, worship, and be equipped to boldly live out their faith!
we can’t wait to see YOU! tag a friend you want to invite below!
Gracious, what a gift this year has been. As I reflect on the Lord’s character, on the doors He has opened, on the things He has done, I am compelled to praise. I am compelled to give Him all of the glory. For the honor of His name and for the blessing of each of you, He has given me the opportunity to steward the @thecompelledpodcast , the @livecompelled local gatherings each month, and the writing and release of The Girl in the Middle.
I pray that these resources and spaces have helped you know Jesus more personally and further equipped you to boldly live out your faith in Him in your everyday life!
As the year comes to a close and I get ready to welcome my baby boy into the world, I am taking a step back from these means of public ministry to be at home with my family. I feel as though the Lord is inviting me to change my pace for such a time as this, and for that I am deeply grateful.
I pray that you too may feel delighted in by God as you obediently step into wherever He is leading you right now. Whether that be a slowing or a picking up of your pace, if you are in step with His Spirit, I guarantee you it will be fruitful because when we abide in Him we are sure to bear much fruit.
Whatever you do in the season you are currently in, at whatever pace the Lord sets your feet to go, however big or small the sphere of influence you have may seem, may you go and live compelled by the love of Jesus there. Because right where you are is a PHENOMENAL, FITTING space to live compelled by His love - to go and make disciples.
I love each of you dearly!! + I am immensely grateful that you are a part of the Compelled fam!💜
WHAT! A! YEAR!
2025 will forever mark the start of Compelled Ministries and we couldn’t be more grateful for what God has done!
thank you for being a part of our Compelled community this year! may our hearts continue to be compelled by Christ’s love this next year and every year after! 🧡
we would love to hear from you - what are some of your favorite memories, moments and lessons from this year with Compelled?
With the sincerest humility and deepest empathy, love on full display came in a way that seemed unpredicted and even backwards by most.
Though He was in the very nature of God, He did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage. Instead, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
The one who made the world came into it, unrecognized, rejected even. The Word, who was God, who was with God, and who was in the beginning, became flesh and chose to dwell among us.
Did He come for His own convenience? Did He come to appease the various opinions of man?
Did He come because it would be easy?
No.
Far from it, in fact.
For He was greatly grieved by the weight of the world.
He was tempted in every way.
He was deeply troubled in His soul as He submitted to the will of the Father.
He became sin, though He knew no sin.
Being found in appearance as a man, He came to be obedient to death - even death on a cross.
He was born to give up His life.
Why?
Because God so loved the world.
Because He so loved you and me.
Because loving union with us was the joy set before Him for which He endured the cross, despising its shame.
This!
This is the love that compels us.
Love that is sacrificial.
Love that initiates with compassion even when the responses of others vary.
Love that is not driven by favoritism so it may merely be seen by the so called elite.
This love of God that was perfectly demonstrated in Christ that we may have abundant life is different.
This is the love that compels moves us, drives us, urges us on to go about our everyday lives differently.
“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
1 John 4:11-12
May we love because He first loved us.💜🎄🎀✨
tis’ the season of giving !

advent reminds us that hope isn’t something we manufacture—it’s something God fills us with! as we wait for Christmas, we remember the God who stepped into a weary world with a light that darkness can’t overcome.
may the God of hope fill you with joy, peace, and a quiet confidence that He is near, working, and faithful.
here’s to an Advent season overflowing with hope. 🙌
a few years ago when I was fresh out of college, I had a vision of starting a nonprofit that would carry the heartbeat of helping women personally know the love of Christ and live their daily lives compelled by this love. this came out of spending time in 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.
one of the ways I wanted to do this was through local gatherings in my city. so with God’s strength to get out of my comfort zone and trust Him, I took the step of applying for Compelled to be an official nonprofit, asked some incredible ladies to be on my team, and invited donors to partner with us in the vision.
and I am full of praise to God and deeply humbled that we got to serve over 350 women throughout 2025 in Northwest Arkansas! women from different generations and different seasons of life and different churches across the area came together monthly in one space to hear God’s Word, worship, be refreshed, find genuine friendship, and leave spurred on in their faith. to witness it, experience it for myself, and to play a part in it has been a good gift from an incredibly good Father.
can I tell you I was confident every step of the way? no.
can I tell you there was never a day I wanted to quit? no.
can I tell you I knew exactly what I was doing as the nonprofit launched? no.
can I tell you that I had complete clarity of what the future held or continues to hold as I have put one foot in front of the other? absolutely not.
but I can tell you that God is trustworthy and will make your path straight as you acknowledge Him in all of your ways.
I can tell you that He is faithful to establish your steps as you commit them to Him.
I can tell you that your faith pleases Him.
I can tell you that His grace is sufficient for you.
I can tell you that whether it looks big or small to the world - obedience is always a big deal in the kingdom of heaven.
I can tell you that He graciously works in you to will and to act according to His good pleasure.
I can tell you that your best life lived is a life walking in step with His Spirit.
because all authority has been given to Jesus and because He is with you always, go live compelled by His love today.💜
