Breath sensor made from an MPXV7002 and a silicon tube. The tube has incisions added near the breathing end to allow air to flow through while still building pressure at the sensor end. Enough pressure is still built up within the tube to allow circular breathing if desired. The sensor sends note on / off and continuous control data.

What unexpected places can a patch go when the web becomes part of the instrument? 🌐🤔
We asked talented Max artists @_a__v__e__n__i__r_ , @littlescale , and h1data (Bluesky/X) to explore Max’s embedded browser object, jweb — along with Max 9’s new jweb~ object, which lets you patch audio directly from the browser into Max. The results were inventive, surprising, and as always, completely their own. 💭👇
🔗 Download their brilliant patches and read more about their processes and experiments with jweb at the link in our bio.

Have you tried patching with jweb~ yet? Let us know in the comments below! Happy patching! 🎛️👩‍💻

Port Adelaide’s de la Catessen Records @dlcrecords22 welcomes music technologist @littlescale with the release of Cloudshape. Cloudshape seeps quietly into daily life, then withdraws with an imperceptible release. There are subtle suggestions in its layered, crystalline tones. Here, form and meaning are unique to every listener and dependent on their daily ritual experiences: “Making food, coffee, walking, caring for others, self care (…) things we do every day contribute to our lives, but also give each day a sense of sameness and normalcy”, says Sebastian Tomczak, also known as little-scale: “but there are things changing at a rate that is just outside of our immediate perception. From any one moment to the next there is a sense of sameness, but from any one point to the middle or the end there is a large amount of change.” On one level Cloudshape is a meditation on the beauty of those elusive shades which separate one day from the next in a life of repetition and ritual. On another level Cloudshape is simply a sensual delight: a high-resolution, slow-motion explosion of binaural pleasure. In over two decades of continuous, prolific, and widely celebrated creation, little-scale’s work remains greatly underrepresented on disc, making the short-run glass-mastered CD of Cloudshape a special gem. Absolutely delighted to announce 'cloudshape', my upcoming release on De la Catessen Records @dlcrecords22 ! A contemplative, engulfing work about daily ritual and meaning, I will be playing a 40 minute rendition live this Saturday at the @samaritimemuseum as part of @newfoundsoundfestival on May 9 in Port Adelaide. Looking forward to a stellar lineup playing alongside @tristanlouthrobins Emma Gregan and @kyrieandersonmusic Proud to be (finally) joining the De la Catessen family! After planning this for years, we had an amazing time on holiday last week on Kangaroo Island! Great weather, beautiful landscapes, lots of flora and fauna, delicious produce and plenty of areas to play and explore.
