Grateful to have experienced so much Bob Weir from my teens through 2025…. When he would perform “Man Smart, Woman Smarter” (which he introduced to the band in 1981) ^^^ I always felt like he was calling out my Spence girl besties who shared a passion for the Dead (and are 🎶smarter than the men in every way 🎶) @catherine_ues@corneliawoods@mforrest28 RIP💔Bob Weir
When I came back to LA in January, the city was literally on fire. I spent a week volunteering at the beautiful Hollywood Legion, sorting through mountains of donated clothes, dirty socks, and one super sweet totally tinsel coat, trying to make sense of my own mess of a life without a job in tinsel town.
Cut to ten months later — I’m back at the same place… but this time, consulting with HBO (my longtime content fave).
You really have no idea what’s in store for you. The faces change, the projects shift, but somehow we all end up in the same rooms trying to make good things happen.
Speaking of good stuff — check out The Chair Company on HBO. The show’s a 🎢 with some cringe-y corporate moments that lightened my longing for the office life and gave me some good belly laughs. 🔥🪩🪑✨
Huge congratulations @augie.db ! Given the 3189-mile distance, I did my best to capture the moment. 👏 This was my first YouTube live graduation - impressive - flawless live tv edits! No wonder Hollywood is moving all to Europe 😂
my 19 yo nephew Hugo wanted to make kale pesto pasta (I was caregiver this week) — he actually grew the kale for his mom (my sis) on Mother’s Day, then used my grandmother’s Cuisinart circa 1980!!, while my mom reminded us how to use this buttonless Cusinart relic.
Cooking with Hugo is never just about food.
He has a brain tumor so rare it doesn’t fit into any clear diagnosis — no tidy name, no mapped-out journey (ask me anything - his daily seizures are indescribable). It affects how he speaks and processes, but as often as I can’t help him find the words, I can always feel his incredible witty brain and giant heart.
Aa we dive into a holiday week, i hope everyone gets to support those they may not understand. Even if it means making angry faces over late night unedible pesto.
How to make life look dreamy during a rather dreary fall. 🙏🏻 to all those employed at #capcut (especially those who invented the saturation 🆙 button.) Seriously, I am grateful for my sunset runs in Central Park and off leash dog mornings during this golden 🍂 fall. (And all those who let me have this second home @lwframe amongst others)
