As we enter into the last month of 2025 and after almost 10 years on Main Street, we at Lithology Brewing have decided to officially close our tasting room this February. Since opening in 2016, we have poured our heart and soul into this brewery. We have had many great times but also experienced many great challenges. We’ve made award winning beer, survived a pandemic, and made many friends who helped us along the way.
But this is not the end of our story, just the start of a new chapter. In 2026 we will be partnering with our brothers in Beer at Jones Beach Brewing Co, combining our strengths to expand our distribution and availability throughout Long Island and beyond. Together we will continue to bring great local craft beer to the community that has supported us since day one🍻
The tasting room will stay open through February 7th with normal hours until then, so please come by and enjoy beers with us until then.
We want to give a huge thank you to every regular, bartender, collaborator, partner, and member of the Long Island beer community. You helped make this place special. ❤️
Stay tuned throughout January for our final events, special hours, and all the details leading up to the last day and our final pour at 211A Main Street.

Well damn. I can’t even believe we’re here 💔 In one week, I’ll be serving for one last shift at Lithology. What better way to end my 7 years with them than a funeral for my employment. I really hope you can all come down before we close for good, and send your well wishes as I retire my combat boots and head off for new adventures. So long and goodnight 🖤
One last class at @lithologybrewing 🍻 so sad to say goodbye to this place! They were one of the first venues to book a class with me when I was starting out last year and it was so much fun hosting with them throughout the year. They will be missed! 💖
