Slow-mo is good for the soul 💚
Been receiving lots of questions about the clubs — “How’s the driver? How’s the irons?” 😂
The driver build actually reminds me of Reign’s R7 Quad mini driver. Which means this LITEYEAR driver has a very similar construction and feel to a modern adult driver.
To be honest, we’ve seen similar builds on the USKG Tour Series and the PING Prodi G, but those felt too heavy for Reign — and probably for most 6–7 year olds as well.
The LITEYEAR driver is the first club we’ve come across that offers this kind of modern build while still staying lightweight enough for junior golfers.
The wood and hybrid have a very similar feel to the driver too. They don’t produce that high-pitched “TING” sound — it’s more of a solid “KWHACK!” 😄
The irons are AWESOME. Soft, buttery feel — especially the wedge! The grooves are surprisingly good and really help generate spin.
That said, Reign won’t be gaming this set regularly just yet. We’re preparing the LITEYEAR set as his next full-time set once he outgrows his current one… which might be soon. Just 5 more cm to go! (Please drink more milk son)
At this stage, there’s no room for error on the course. Proper club length and proper weight matter a lot, especially for carrying through 18 holes.

We’re late to the party but wanted to share our experience at JM EAGLE, our first LPGA Event! First off, thank you to @scgajunior and @teamoutlyr for putting together such an incredible Junior Day. Organizing an event during a tournament for hundreds of kids is no easy task, and you made it happen! 🙌
Secondly, I know we say this a lot but, the future of the game is looking BRIGHT! 🤩 We got to meet so many talented golfers, from ones just starting out to top ranked juniors. We are so excited for the future of our sport and humbled to play a small part in it. ✨

Reign & Daddy doing a little review on the Liteyear golf clubs.
I have to be honest—the first thing that caught me was the sound. It doesn’t sound like a junior club at all. If you closed your eyes, you’d probably think it was a full-size set.
Then you start to notice the details… the shafts, the clubheads, the grips, even the bag. Everything feels thoughtfully made. Light, but solid. Premium, without that “cheap junior set” feeling we’ve come across before. What surprised me the most is that it’s priced almost the same as other junior brands.
Right now, the set is just a little too long for Reign. But that’s okay. After talking with Liteyear, we see this as his next step. He’s growing, improving, and it won’t be long before he outgrows his current set.
As a parent, I spent a lot of time researching—trying to find something lightweight but still capable of delivering real performance. Something that won’t hold him back as he gets better.
And I think we’ve found it.
LITEYEAR feels like the right next chapter for him. ❤️
