The EP is a three-track release built from a very personal origin story: a 16 year old Berlin kid, a piano, and a rough DAW setup. Back then, lofi wasn’t a trend. It was a shelter. A way through heavy times. This EP is lid kII’s homage to that foundation: nostalgia, gratitude and resilience.

lid kII's 'lofi is dead but i'm still alive' EP is a three track EP rooted in a real beginning: a 16 year old Berlin kid at the piano with his best friend, building a world out of lofi when life got heavy. The release moves from a lofi house homage to the moment love cuts through the noise and into brighter, faster shades of the sound.
Closing track 'argentina' shifts the horizon clearer, faster and full of forward motion. It carries an anthem like energy. Still textured and raw, but brighter. It feels like stepping into a new place with your chest open. It feels like Argentina.
