🍒In Brazil, the Conilon (Robusta) harvest began around one month ago in areas such as Espírito Santo, where some sporadic rainfall has also been reported, though still within normal levels. As for Arabica, the harvest is beginning, with activities already underway in some areas of Minas Gerais. 🌧️Rainy conditions across coffee regions such as Valle del Cauca, Nariño, Cauca, and Huila have not eased. Despite the delays caused to the Mitaca (fly crop), harvesting activities continue. Quality seems promising. 🍒The coffee harvest in Peru is currently in its initial phase, with activities concentrated in lower-altitude zones, which are around 35% complete. 🍒Brazil is entering its new crop cycle under generally favorable weather conditions. Production forecasts for Brazil remain strong. Recent forecasts from StoneX suggest a significant increase in output, with the harvest expected to rise by 13 million bags—from 62.3 million in the 2025/26 season to 75.3 million in 2026/27. 🌧️ Colombia continues to experience persistent rainfall across most regions. This is delaying the Mitaca (fly) crop and raising concerns about the proper drying of parchment. Prolonged wet conditions could also potentially delay the main harvest expected in the second half of the year. 🌱The harvest season just began in Peru, particularly in lower-altitude areas. We already received a few pre-shipments samples, with quality being promising! Rainfall is decreasing but northern regions such as Cajamarca, San Martín, and Amazonas continue to experience some precipitation.
