We spent an afternoon making chocolate chip cookies with my friend, neighbor, and endlessly talented chef, food stylist, and cookbook author @lishsteiling â talking through flour choice, texture, timing, and all the small decisions that quietly shape a really good cookie. The kind of details you only notice once someone like Lish points them out.
We talked through what makes einkorn unique, a few things to pay attention to while baking with it, and how to handle the dough to get the kind of cookie youâre actually hoping for. Mostly, we baked, compared notes, and had fun doing it.

Always grateful to be able to cook for good people. A while back @the_taste_curators had the absolute pleasure of cooking for a fantastic @foxhillfarm1670 and @abbydays gathering. It brought me more joy than I could ever explain.
