Return To The Body
thank you @image.atlas for creating a comfortable atmosphere (quick 10 min shoot before I had to rush to the airport after a few days of talks and hugs and tears and so many women’s stories in Milan oh wow)
I’ve been finding new ways to return to my body with some nurturing guidance by the lovely @redtentdoulacollective fam and movement teachings by Peter Appel and my class through @movingness_com
I’ve been learning about nourishment without restriction, gentle and activating movements, about how my system works and I’m still learning learning learning and it’s a life long school and how I can then share and hopefully guide others through transitions.
I am grateful for my vessel that has been carrying me through joy, fear, pain, depression, bliss, worries laughter and tears.
I feel like I can actually listen to my body now and respond accordingly. I don’t numb, I don’t rush, I don’t force. And when I find myself attempting to, I pause.
And all of that in complete safety. I am beyond fortunate.

Huge thank you to the whole BANDE and especially to @marthaaa.art for giving me the kick in the butt I sometimes need and including me in projects and letting me see how beautiful and important it is to have a steady group of people, where everyone brings their quirks and qualities that are all equally important.
Not only the creative process filled me with so much joy, but also to look out for and be cared for by each other so effortlessly and intentionally. Be it preparing food and sharing meals together, running errands, letting people rest and have their moments when necessary and taking over tasks.
And thank you to @clautscho_ for organizing this so shmoofly.
Ohhhh still feeling warm looking back and as always, I am very fortunate that people let me experiment and explore in my own way of learning things that I enjoy so much.
I got to use field recordings from like 2017 I recorded in Thalgau, the little market town I grew up in as a child, and recordings I made over the past few years of bodies of water like streams in Gnigl/Sam and the Felberbach at Hexenloch when I would need a time out and go for long walks in nature.
I got to play music by artists I find inspiring and I got to bleep bloop some sounds myself, playing around like I have been for almost 15 years but kept it a private hobby (for once haha)
I am so so so lucky in so many ways and I am grateful for all the people in my life that see something in me and my many many interests. 🌞
