In addition, I am stepping into the new year in style with these handmade shoes I created in Tokyo a few months ago with Haruka @atelier.bonheur.et.etincelant using durable soles from Loper @loper_shoes . 👟 The textured leather almost feels symbolic of a fresh start, don’t you think? 😉

2024 was a year of incredible learning! From seasoned experts to the inspiring folks in my workshops, I soaked up knowledge like a sponge. My travels weren’t always for relaxation, but for the perfect materials – a true treasure hunt! Workshops kept me on my toes, pushing me to explore new ideas while my wrist (after a minor occupational hazard) reminded me to listen to my body and pace myself. Cheers to a year of creativity, a bit of controlled chaos, and a newfound appreciation for rest and recovery! ✨ I can’t wait to see what adventures and creations 2025 brings!

@lisatengstudios was very patient and helpful in teaching us how to make our own leather sneakers, from cutting and punching the leather base, to sewing up our shoes - she even helped me with part of my shoes after I had to rush off from the workshop 😅 She’s also up for a chat when you’re making your shoes. Her guidance made the whole experience very enjoyable, and I’d say this is great as a date activity or for a bridal shower!
