We will journey together with no expectations, and vibe within ambient, dub & roots and deep African lineage diasporic music, instrumentals/beats, soul, funk, jazz, exploring in not so common ways, plus get a listen to parts of my new album of the same name, within the mix of things. The last thing I did before I moved to Europe was go to Detroit. So much has changed in the last decade, but so much has stayed the same. It is such an amazing place, a city built up, knocked down, and dusted off to rise again. Its people will show you what resilience is, determination and grit - with all the smiles and warmth of the Midwest. I had a fantastic week filled with friends old and new from every corner of the world, a lot of dancing, and a lot of Detroit style pizza. I don’t want to wait another 10 years to come back. I’m terrible at taking photos but thankfully @dhillonzdead isn’t, so I borrowed a few. 💙

Old friends, new friends, so many smiles and dancing and laughing and of course, delicious cocktails. Thanks to @dreambabydreambar for another memorable night as Alan and I toasted to 10 years in Berlin. 📸 @dhillonzdead
