Some BIG news… ✨ After 7 years of RADISH, it is time to close a chapter. Of this dress and garment variety anyway.
It’s been a hard (and emotional) decision to make, but September will be your last chance to shop our pieces. I am so grateful for this community’s kindness and support over the years. If you’ve followed, bought a dress (or a few even!), been to an event, worn a tee, shared the love… Thank you!
I started work on RADISH 9 years ago, the year after I’d lost my mum quite suddenly. Ever since, it’s provided me with a container and channel for colour, joy, escapism, wonder and connection. Bringing Gracie, Layla and all the golden girls, from my imagination and scrapbooks into the world.
… but as you will know, it’s been an extremely tough few years for small biz, and the last year or so, has felt some of the hardest. With cumulative effects of Brexit, Covid, cost of living, import duties, dodgy Insta/ Meta antics etc… and to keep the business with the heart I wish for it to have.
All through this, I’ve primarily been a ‘one women band’. Hand writing notes with each order, and meaning it each time I wrote ‘thank you’.
There have been many ‘pinch me’ moments over the years, but what has always made my heart sing is to receive your lovely messages or pics. Your ongoing support and community has meant the world. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives, wardrobes, special days and memory making moments. Keep wearing RADISH, keep sending me the pics.
Thank you to our wonderful makers, my dream collaborators Tom CH, Kamilla, SJ, Alice, Carla C, Lauren and all the other super talented creatives I’ve been so lucky to collaborate with. And to my wonderful friends and fam.
Keep shopping with your favourite small brands and independents… and continue cheering them on.
The last date to shop our pieces will be Mon 30th Sept. Keep an eye on here and our newsletter for exclusives and archive pieces.
For me RADISH has always been a world, and one whose spirit I feel will evolve into something else. So hopefully this will be more of a ‘see you soon…’ on here, than a ‘goodbye’. Excited to plant some new seeds, and see what blooms.
Love,
Lisa x
Happy otherworldly 70th Deezle ✨🪩☄️🪐✨
I hope it is featuring a ridiculously large disco ball, bouquets of sweetpeas, a fresh notebook, a cappuccino with the perfect chocolate powder, a pina colada with all the decorations, some vintage bling to wear, your dream playlist, a sundowner (preferably on an Ibizan beach), all day/ night dancing, a road trip in Karima (without her roof popping up on the motorway), new and old friends, lots of laughter and a never ending pack of red More.
Forever Deezle x
