My heart is broken for those who have lost so much in the wildfires that have ravaged my beautiful city of Los Angeles. Many of my friends have lost everything. Dustin and Erin spent the last year working with a local shelter both fostering and finding homes for high risk of euthanasia dogs. Their kindness and spirit is immeasurable. This is my handsome Daddio. We look the most alike in this pic which is one of my favorites. He has given me so much in this life and has perhaps been the most influential in fostering my creativity especially my love of film and music. We used to drive home from Los Angeles blasting Fleetwood Mac or Paul Simon’s Graceland. We knew every single word of that album and particularly enjoyed racing through the lyrics to You can Call me Al to see who could do it faster. It always ended up with one of us trying to be louder than the other till we were just screaming the song at each other. 🤣 He taught me about Hitchcock and Orson Welles and all the old film greats. We both share a romanticism for that time. My Dad is one of the hardest working and creative people I know.. he has a generous heart and always gave my brothers and I more than we needed. I am so lucky to have him and grateful for all of his love. I love you so much Daddio. Happy Father’s Day. #FathersDay
This is my beautiful mother, my ride or die. She is one of the most selfless people I know. After raising 5 children, one of whom has special needs and is completely dependent on her ( and my father) she never stops giving and is grateful for everyday that she has with her kids. I am so grateful for her. I will never take for granted her self effacing humor, her immense creativity and talent, and her heart. In true mom fashion she will always be cradling, loving, and nurturing another baby. This new lucky one is Mochi, and Mom rarely sets her down. We love you so much Momala!

I had a hard time getting to a place where I could post this. As some of you may know my sweet friend Christian Oliver and his precious daughters Madita and Annik were killed in a plane crash in the Caribbean last Thursday. I will keep this simple, Christian was one of the kindest, most sincere people I’ve ever worked with. He was fundamentally driven by joy and on set was always concerned for others. He brought a lightness and a silliness that would get us through hard times. I had the honor to work with him twice, and the greatest thing, what stood out the most about him was how much he loved his daughters. He was always talking about them. He had a special spark of joy in his eye when it came to them. I wish I had gotten to know them better and I am ever so grateful to have known Christian. I love you my friend.
