Fancy meeting you here… ⬇️🫶🏾 OK listen - If you’ve already mastered inner peace, keep scrolling. But if you’re still figuring it out, stick around. This testimonial is for you…🫶🏾 Picture this: it’s 2020, the world’s in disarray, everyone’s isolated and hyper anxious 😬. That’s when I met Emily— 👋🏾 running on fumes, stressed, and disconnected. 🚧 The real issue? 🤔 Believing she could start small and still have a big impact on her family. She’d never meditated and needed a lifeline, not just another self-help book. So, we flipped the script. Instead of aiming for a perfect practice, we focused on simplicity. 👩🏾‍🍳 Here’s my simple recipe for sanity: Take 3 deep breaths, mix in a minute of stillness, add 5 minutes of mindfulness. Stir until you find that pocket of peace. 🙏🏾 (📌 Save this post to keep this recipe handy whenever you need a moment to breathe. 🧘🏾‍♀️) 🌸 The more you do this, the lighter you feel. And suddenly, life starts to flow, and challenges don’t seem so insurmountable. 👏🏾 Emily’s journey is inspiring. Despite ups and downs, she’s thrived. Her testimony shows what comes from nurturing self-kindness and letting go of limiting beliefs. She wasn’t healing herself to be able to handle more pain + stress—she was healing herself welcome love + joy back into your life. Today, I call my process the Lazy Lotus Method, helping other creatives feel at home in their skin without needing having a perfect practice. 🪷✨ Show some ❤️❤️ in the comments to honor Emily’s journey. A simple “I see you” can create ripples of love in our community. So BIG ❤️ to my amazing clients who trust me with their hearts and well-being. And an even bigger ❤️❤️ to @DesjardinsGroup for the $20,000 GoodSpark Grant to keep the work I do going 💸🙏🏾 I couldn’t be more grateful. This grant means more support for people like Emily, reinvestment in my company ‘Take A Breath’, and a fresh revamp of my course. 🙌🏾📚 COMMENT “Lotus” for a link to join Emily and other in our Soul Studio. P.S. If any of this hit home for you, share it with someone who needs a nudge towards the power of small steps and a supportive community. #GoodSparkGrants

Drop a heart ❤️ if the stage has touched your heart too. Happy World Theatre Day! 🎭 Gratitude floods me as I reflect on the magnificent productions that have sculpted my soul and honed my art. Theatre is the heart of my artistic expression. I’ve been blessed to explore its magic across North America, each stage a classroom, each fellow artist a guide uncovering layers of myself and my craft. A deep bow to you, the audience—your presence completes the circle of our storytelling. You are the heartbeat of every show, turning fleeting scenes into lasting memories with your presence. Here’s to the pulse and passion of live performance. With love and endless thanks to the realm of theatre, where the alchemy of human connection happens. #thisiswar #fathercomeshomefromthewars #pericles #intimateapparel #anoctoroon #theatre

A Mother’s Day message that is also a very shameless movie plug. Mothers are just… badass. And if you want to see what I mean, go watch our film Infiltrate right now on @primevideo I had the privilege of working @ninjaorf on this she’s an incredible mama. And honestly, her work in this film reinforced what we all already know deep down. That Mothers are powerful! Like, hold-everything-together, run-the-world, save-the-day, and still show up for bedtime stories kind of powerful. So, go watch our film. 🍿 Happy Mother’s Day. 🥷 Yes to flowers. Yes to chocolate. Yes to Hallmark cards. But also yes to badass action movies that remind you just how strong, resilient, and powerful you actually are. Go watch a mother be absolutely unstoppable.

Has anyone else ever felt like motherhood is beautiful, but also weird, tender, and… loaded? Because for some women, motherhood is the greatest joy of their lives. 🙋🏾‍♀️ But for others, it’s heartbreaking, complicated, or a dream that didn’t arrive the way they thought it would. And as I get older, I’ve come to realize just how many versions of motherhood there actually are. Because there are women, mothering entire communities, friend groups, students, castmates, strangers, just mothering everyone else’s nervous systems. So to all the incredible maternal spirits who spend their lives nurturing others and don’t always get reflected back in these conversations… I hope you feel seen today. I hope you know the care you give matters. The softness matters. The endurance matters. And the way you love, quietly, consistently, imperfectly, is not overlooked. God bless you! But I also want to say something to the mothers who are artists. Because Motherhood and artistry ask for the same things. Your body. Your heart. Your time. Your sleep. Your identity. Your nervous system. Your ability to keep going after rejection, disappointment, grief, laundry, and the rare gift of about six minutes alone in a bathroom (when they’re little). And somehow, you’re expected to hold it all at once. Both paths ask everything of you, are deeply sacred, and wildly inconsistent. Both expand you and undo you in the same breath. But neither gives you steady ground for very long. So much of this journey is learning to stay open while being patient. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone carrying love in difficult, beautiful, complicated ways. 🤍

Most days I feel like I’m keeping 47 tabs open in my brain while reheating the same cup of coffee and trying not to cry in the shower. But maybe motherhood was never about “doing it all.” Maybe it’s about loving through exhaustion. Creating through uncertainty. Showing up imperfectly. Trying again tomorrow. And somehow continuing to soften instead of harden.

My Kickstarter’s closed. But the comment section? Oh, she’s open and thriving, and I’m basically loitering there like it’s my emotional support group. I asked how you keep going when a dream swerves off the highway, and you did not come to play. You brought some gems. The kind that makes me sit up straighter and go, “Oh. Right.” So I’m passing it on. Names included. Credit where the pep talks are due. These are some of my favorites, but honestly, we’re gonna need a Part Two because one carousel cannot contain this level of heart and wisdom. And if you didn’t jump in last time but you’ve got a “here’s how I don’t spiral when things go sideways” method… drop it below. I’m collecting like it’s currency. 🤍 P.S. I don’t mention this much, but I built a place for this work. It’s called the Aligned Artist Academy. Where working actors do the inner work the industry never taught us. It’s quietly become one of the most meaningful things I’ve made. If you’re curious, my DMs are open. 🤍

Somewhere between the hope and the math, music slipped back into my life. Quietly. Like it had been waiting on the porch the whole time. We raised almost $20,000 (CAD) toward an album. Not enough to make it. But enough to remind me that the song in my hear never left. To @jasonmannsmusic (who said yes when I was still whispering about this dream like it might evaporate if I said it too loud). Thank you for hearing my voice before I had the nerve to. Thank you for believing it had somewhere to go. To @themarkcassius and @cqvoice my singing teachers. You handed me back my own sound and a process to grow it. And I’ll carry that with me, always. To EVERY soul who pledged, shared, slid into my DMs, or left a kind word under any of these posts. My gratitude is bigger than this caption could ever hold. 🙏🏾 You held this dream with me. Just because the goal wasn’t met doesn’t mean the dream didn’t matter. ✨ So I’m taking a beat. Regrouping. Letting the ground tell me what wants to grow next. Trusting that everything, even this, is all a part of Gods plan. Now can I ask you something, because I don’t want to sit in this alone. 🥹 Has anyone ever gone after something with your whole chest and watched it not happen the way you hoped? How did you find your way through? Tell me below. I’m reading every single one. 🤍 Ps. 📸 by @mymiraclephotography 🫶🏾

Found this while cleaning out my phone. The girl in this video still had a song in her heart. And it was also right before I went quiet. She had no idea this many people would ever show up for her. Honestly? Neither did I. But over a hundred beautiful souls did. You pledged. You shared. You prayed. You slid into my DMs with the kindest, most loving words. You backed a dream I could barely say out loud without wanting to take it back. And whatever the final number is tomorrow, you already gave me something priceless. You reminded me, loudly, repeatedly, and with receipts, that the song was always worth singing. 🎶 🤍 24 hours left. If you’re into long shots, emotional plot twists, and slightly unhinged artistic bravery, the link’s in my bio. Or comment MUSIC and I’ll send it. #projectwelove

3 days left. 50% of the way there. A long shot, but not impossible. But I wanted you to see who you’ve been backing. The little girl in me is crying happy tears. 🥹 for the 100+ humans who shared, donated, believed, prayed, cheered me on… THANK YOU. It means more than you know. If you’ve been meaning to back this project and lost track, or you know someone who loves backing these kinds of dreams, I’d be so grateful if you’d share the link in my bio. Or just comment MUSIC and I’ll send it your way. #projectwelove #spnfamily

Last few days to back Lisa’s Kickstarter. I’ve watched her talk herself out of this more times than I can count. The difference this time is you. This community showed up and reminded her that her voice is worth recording. Don’t let her cross the finish line without you. Link in my bio. Last chance.#proudhusband #projectswelove #kickstarter #spnfamily #spn

💀 “O Death” EP! Help Bring It to Life✨ Story time… I was a singer, then I wasn’t. Somehow, I convinced myself my voice just didn’t fit what people wanted to hear. So I stopped 🎤 I tried to sound perfect instead of sounding like me. Years went by. And I started to forget what my real voice even felt like. But then something wild happened. @officialbrianab + the Supernatural family reminded me, a voice isn’t about fitting in. It’s about feeling alive. This EP is me, finally letting that real voice back into the world. If you’ve ever lost a part of yourself, that you loved, maybe you’ll see (and feel) it again in the songs we chose. Support our Kickstarter. Or just share this. Every kind of help brings a smile to my heart 😊🫶🏾❤️ #ProjectWeLove

This industry will teach you how to perform. But nobody teaches you how to stay whole while you do it. How to breathe when nobody’s watching. How to keep going when the room is empty. How to build something real inside yourself when everything around you is temporary. That’s the work nobody talks about. Not the technique. Not the headshot. Not the hustle. The quiet, steady, sacred work of becoming someone who can hold what’s coming. More classes won’t fix what stillness will. More auditions won’t heal what presence can. The thing standing between you and your fullest expression isn’t talent. It’s permission. To stop performing your worth and start living from it. If you’ve been told to push harder, post more, network louder, and it still feels hollow, maybe you’re not doing it wrong. Maybe you’ve just been following the wrong script. This one’s different. https://start.takeabreath.ca/acting-reset-ready
