Mooncalf has been out for a week and tonight we set sail for our maiden voyage. Thank you to all who have given it a listen or supported in any way - there will be physical tapes of both our albums and a limited run of t-shirts available at these shows. We prepare in earnest for the sun to rise again; we will see you all there.
Our sophomore album, Mooncalf, is out today. This record is a soft spoken catalogue of Liral’s inner world and a culmination of our work together over the last eight months. As these deathbed memories flit through our closing eyelids, we welcome you to peer inside.
Our second single - the final instalment before the album’s release - is now available everywhere you can listen to music. Needlepoint is an exasperated sigh of recognition, a clumsy cord that holds together what was never meant to do anything but fall apart.

*EDIT WITH SHOW POSTERS*
On May 1st, 2025, we will be releasing our sophomore album, “Mooncalf.” In celebratory fashion, we are hitting the road for a few dates with the mesmerising A Horse Named Friday.
May 9 - Montreal @ Blue Dog with Holly McLachlan, Pink Snail (solo)
May 10 - Toronto @ Bampot Teahouse with Treehouse of Horror (acoustic), Sin Cola
May 11 - Kitchener @ The Grand Surf with Treehouse of Horror (acoustic)
ALL AGES MATINEE and 19+ EVENING SHOW (limited space)
In the last of our quiet days resting below the surface, we are pleased to offer the first single off our sophomore album. A complete sonic departure from our debut, "Falling Action" is a still body of water in which we rinse the soil from beneath our nails and search for what is salvageable.

On April 4th, we will be making our live debut with a stripped down arrangement from our soon to be announced sophomore album. We’ll be sharing the night with our good friends Stevedave, Heir Loom, and Sin Cola (who will also be performing their first show) at Whoopsie Daisy cafe in Kitchener. Come join us in embracing the warm season with abundant new growth - and perhaps a spot of tea.
An edition of 25 handmade tapes for Devoid of Self will be available at our currently unannounced first show - complete with meticulously stitched details and fractured transmissions.
“Peering wide eyed into the habits of the lower orders and wondering if there was such a thing as a floor at all.”
