2006 YouLe this morning. Until Sunday its discounted to $16.16 for 16g which is $1/g but at say $6-$7 a session, the experience is well worth it as its comparable to that of going to a roaster and having their luxrious light roast coffee; difference is this rewbrews multiples time and can be shared. The 2006 Artisianal Blend is discounted to $12/16g which you should also add if you grab this. Not much left and honestly from my expectations, I dont imagine a lot of this coming out of collections to be resold if theres much left out there. Glad to have shared what I could thus far. . Roughly 13 left, I suspect I will take 2-3 myself on Monday to give to friends as I realize this is almost gone. . I also wont be having more tea today because I have to be away for some obligations, but the 2006 Yeh Chawang from Yang Qing Hao would of been my pick after which is a fantastic deal during the sale along with the Baopin as both right now are about 50 cents a gram some really fun picks! . I think my plan is when I hit 10 or less 2006 teas in stock or catch up in life, I will add the 2006 Xiaguan tuos from Taiwan that are awaiting you all. . Also I am barley awake. Sorry for my rough appearance and possibly sloshed together words. . #puerh #puer #gushu #youle #xizihao

Friday night sipping on the 2006 Shua Ya (snow buds) from Yang Qing Hao. This is part of the weekend sale and one of the few remaining just sold as it was discussed about. . This has always been similar to a light corn whiskey to me. The sweetness and background of gentle flavors has always alluded me. Very much a non stanard puerh as it brews like a maocha does and somewhat like theres a touch of white tea. Those snow buds over the years might be the secret ingredient giving it that uniqueness. . Through the dry storage and years in USA, there are fruit and floral behind everything when pushed and taken time to experience. . At 500g a cake, it is a beast. Right now at $288 it is a steal. . I suspect they will remain in stock come Monday so I will put a plan together to make more 16g experiences available as this is a fun one for people to try. . . . #puerh #puer #yangqinghao #gushu #chinesetea

LiquidProust.com Live now through Sunday May 17th This is not normal, but this past week I got radiation mitigation done in my house which dropped is a lot along with my c02 levels dropping to half. Fair to say, I am feeling more lively and just overall great... so what do I do? Get yall some great deals on some 2006 stuff! . Not included will be special priced items in sets. Everything with 2006 in the title of the tea is 20% off. All of these are solid deals right now, however I will drink one on Saturday and Sunday to call them out specifically :) . . . #puerh #puer #gongfucha #teasale #teamail

2004 South East Asia Puerh Association Commemorative Cake. A 1998 raw puerh, Malaysia dry stored, from the Nanqiao Tea Factory. Sold at $265 a cake, if I see 26 are possibly sold will drop to $225 and if 40 are possibly sold we will drop to $200... This is all because I have some other opportunities that came up and this was highly unexpected. Just wanting to recover my losses, benefit you all, and move on to the next thing :) . Samples are still in the shop for $20 Plenty of time to decide. . Old school stuff well worth the ask. . . #ouerh #puer #gongfucha #gushu not really #chinesetea

Opportunity cost is knocking at my door. As I caught up some things yesterday, I am now looking at a potential 6 tongs of a cake I haven't disclosed yet... but how can I afford them? I was looking at what cakes are for sale that could generate the funds needed to do so. To which we come to the 2007 Autumn Yiwu Chawang. Collector stored in Malaysia and shipped to me in their original bamboo tongs, I have around 10 cakes left that if I was to blow out at $333.33 would I have the majority sold to flip into the opportunity presented to me or do I have to let it pass by and allow someone else take it? . Hard to say. How many people would take a cake for $333.33 or how many would take a half cake for $175? Deal isnt real as of now, I am just thinking through what I could do to make some fun things happen. . . . #puerh #puer #yiwu #gushu #chenyuanhao

Disappointment. Exhaustion. Frustration. Humiliation. Defeated. . All of the feelings flood through me this morning as I take ownership for my own failures the past two weeks. I have to take responsibility for always trying to take everything on. Limitation is still a concept I have to accept as a reality and not a challange. . At first, I was going to ask for advice from everyone as I had to cancel orders the past week due to request and messages from people asking when they will get their order. Even if I put 1-2 week timeframe before an order ships, we live in a world where we have been conditioned for darn near instant gratification between streaming, Uber/Doordash, and even the new 1 hour delivery from Amazon. . Last week was maybe one of the busiest for me because I work in finance/credit where month end has numbers to hit so its more time and more stress. I also ended up serving 70 people tea that Saturday which was a 6am-1pm ordeal that that day. To not get to shipments, it hits me in the feels because I have built this over 11 years to what it is now. Failure is an opportunity to learn from mistakes, right? That is how I am deciding to proceed. . I just hope I don't lose trust from people because they think I am ignoring them or not taking care of their request. . So what do I do about it? Wake up at 4:30am and get things done knowing when its 7:30am I must stop to start my fulltime job. So I get some really good tea prepped for the day to enjoy myself. A guafengzhai from XiZiHao. . "This too shall pass" . Time to dig deep and be the best I can be. . This isnt complaining, this is being open because being if I promote community then I must also express that we support during highs and lows. If you support Liquid Proust, you are supporting one person doing it all to which it is a bit more of a personal connection and not just a 'tea dealer'. . Hope everyone has some great stuff lined up for this Friday. Thank you for allowing me to just express my feelings. #puerh #puer #xizihao #gushu #gongfucha

2025 winter Moc Chau, Qing Xin green oolong from Vietname. Surprisingly better than a daily drinker when it comes to oolong. This is the category if tea I own the most of. Puerh is the most conversed and community involved, but I have far more oolong in my stash than puerh. The oolong section of the shop over the years have always shifted and brought new/fun things. This time around its some Vietnamese additions at killer prices because Veit Sun Tea hooked it up. You can find it on the site for quite some time because I bought a lot (maybe too much 😅) Vietnam Oolong Tea Sampler via Viet Sun Tea 100g /listing/4461126019/vietnam-oolong-tea-sampler-via-viet-sun . . #oolong #oolongtea #tea #vietnamesetea #gongfucha

THE 1995 Jincha is the latest addition for those seeking out some dang Hong Kong traditional storage that's had some time to settle down. These 1995 Jincha was part of a group buy in the past and after holding onto some for a bit, it was time to make 16g experiences for the website for purchase. . In addition to these, if you want that HK dank there is also: 2007 FengQing Factory F7813 & Late 1980's Raw/Ripe Hong Kong Blend . . #puerh #puer #agedtea #gongfucha #oldtea

Today I served 50+ people tea thanks to @groveporttownhall (first picture is theirs, I stole it 😆) Always set up so beautifully and flows so well. It is not easy to prepare 50 gallons of tea the way I want them to taste, but everyone found a few they enjoyed even with the crazy picks I use. This year I used tea from Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, India, and South Korea. Nothing like a world tour of fun teas and how different they are being made. Many of these teas are purchased directly which helps provide for the families involed. Like the Indonesia green tea I had scented in February. Maybe next year I will bring durian scented tea 😅 . Nothing beats the opportunity to share your passion. Just trying to live that golden rule through community, experience, and education. The larger the diversity of people I do it with and through, the more we'll rounded I can be to reach others. So while this was for a specific group today, you (yes you, all of you) make this possible by supporting me and this crazy thing I do through Liquid Proust. Many many thanks to you all for everything that has allowed me to get to this point. . Last year when I left this event I was rear ended, my car got totalled, and I experienced my first time with PTSD which has been a challange anytime it comes to driving on the highway and people are breaking now. Happy to say that after a year, the heart racing flutters are getting better and no accidents since then! . Following the event, I wanted to stop by and pickup this 'expensive' coffee from @royalflamingocoffee (if you didnt know, my brother works here so hes the coffee guy and I am the tea guy). Let him try out some of the jackfruit scented green tea because I think it may just be this summers best; sorry but the Hadong teas may be replaced by a new favorite. . Thats was a bunch of words that hopefully made sense. Exhausted, happy, grateful... all those things and more. . Also I have told you all lately: you matter, you are thought about, and you are loved. Even when it doesnt feel like it, it is true. Never forget we have a fantastic tea community online on Discord called The Tea Table #tea #teaparty #teafriends #afternoontea #gongfucha

Adopted a new girl into the family and... well, pretty sure she will be the one who will end up finally breaking teaware. Typically the cats never go in the office room because its boring for them, but this girl is very curious. Preparing myself ahead of time, but ultimately I need to probably get things out of her reach. . Anyone have experience teaware breaking because of pets? . . . #teaware #cat #siamesecat
