Here we go again ! One month after our reggae/dub tribute, Dj’s Spring Selecta is happy to come back with the new and second episode : dedicated to R’n’b and Hip Hop. After a heartwarming first edition (despite the rain) We’re back and excited to announce the second gathering of our 3-part journey. On May 16th, DJ’s Spring Selecta returns with an R&B and hip-hop edition after the Dub/reggae tribute. This time, our selectors @cosmicsou and @zulunawfel will take us through their worlds of sound, from classics to deep cuts and fresh selections. Do not forget Dj’s Spring Selecta is designed as a space to connect — for DJs, music lovers, diggers, and the curious. Bring your people, spread the word. A space where music is the main character, and where everything moves around it. A little glimpse of the first Dj’s Spring Selecta event: Dub & Reggae edition. Thank you to everyone who showed up, danced, listened, connected, and made the space feel so alive (despite the rain). Big love to @ferasdread (from @reggaebdarija ), to Fadil (@culture_corner_ ), both representing @submissionsoundsystem 🫡 Thank you @retro_cassetta for the north african reggae selection 🫡 Big Up @smaeel_alaoui and @mourad.music for guiding us through deep dub vibrations and reggae roots. It was fire 🔥 Huge thanks to @mindscape_event_production for delivering an incredible sound system — truly the backbone of this sonic journey. And heartfelt thanks to @villadesarts.ma for supporting us since day one and allowing us to create ephemeral spaces for us to just BE. With this series of 3 events, we’re paying tribute to DJ culture — starting from the roots with dub and reggae, moving forward to R&B and hip-hop, and closing in June with disco and house. We welcome everyone from or interested by the culture to come for the love of music, to connect, to meet new people and gather. This first chapter reminded us exactly why we do this. You were amazing 🤍 From start to finish, the energy never dropped. Come chill in the garden of @villadesarts.ma Casablanca, connect with fellow music lovers and wander through the open-air exhibition. At 4:30PM, gather at the Culture Corner, where @ferasdread — founder of @reggaebdarija // one of the founders of Submission Sound System (Massive big up @submissionsoundsystem 🫡) — will break down reggae & dub culture, helping us learn more and acknowledge the foundations of the movement. + time for Q&A and conversation and a few surprises At 5:30PM, you can check the Sound Installation — a fun way to discover rare North African reggae, selected by @Retro Cassetta. 6PM — selectors step in. Long time no see, beautiful people. Since we last met in September at @lboulevard_festival , Liquid Bridge has been in hibernation. Even of we have paused on the surface, We’ve been quietly working beneath the surface. Like seeds under the soil in winter 🌺 In november, december, january and february we collaborated with great partners and amazing artists on a few carefully selected projects: - Puma (commissioned by the amazing @replayagency ), - Marjane group and SEAT (commissioned by the coolest, @the_adgency_ ). As the season shifts and spring begins to bloom, so do we.From April and on, expect to hear from us again ☀️ 💐 . See you soon, we have soooo missed you. ❤️

Today: the 7th of july marks our 3rd anniversary. It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 years already. ❤️ 3 years of trying our best to connect stories, communities, art forms, narratives, generations, places and energies. 2025 has been, the most challenging and the hardest year so far - for us. Making us even more grateful for each one of those who have been supportive and part of this beautiful adventure.
