𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑭𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑨𝒀 @thelanesbristol 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐝 (@heavy.wild ) heavy wild is a London-based lo-fi alt-rock project blending post-punk grit with shoegaze atmospherics and emotionally charged songwriting. Formed in 2022 and led by Wolfgang Harte, the band have quickly built a reputation for their raw, analogue-driven sound and introspective lyricism. Their debut EP Death Dreams (2025) explores themes of disconnection, loss and struggle through layered guitars, detuned synths and bruised vocals. Drawing comparisons to The Jesus & Mary Chain, early Arcade Fire and Wunderhorse, they’ve earned support from Clash, Notion, So Young and The Line of Best Fit. Following a UK headline run, they celebrated the release with two NYC headline shows and a sold-out Sebright Arms date, cementing their growing presence in the UK alternative scene.
