Guy in white hat is Junior. Lanky laconic country boy. Quiet, don’t look like much. His job as ‘bullfighter’ means keeping the rider safe during and after the ride. Last Sunday I witnessed Junior put himself between a downed vulnerable rider and an angry bull. The resulting collision somersaulted Junior higher than the top rail. Bravest thing Ive ever seen.
